When 25 Caravans and their keen owners from the Queensland Retreat Caravan Group roll into the Crows Nest Tourist Park on 15th September, they are in for a real treat of retreat.  This Award-Winning venue is a gem in the crown of Crows Nest.

This country community located an easy drive from Brisbane, the Gold or Sunshine Coasts and Toowoomba, sits on the new England Highway as it winds its way gently through the high country and on to Rockhampton.  Crows Nest is a community which has taken on the conversion from a small sleepy village to a vibrant tourist destination – thanks to the natural surroundings, the vision and energy of its current business owners and exciting new ventures.

Park owners, committed managers and hard-working staff have, in a short three years, turned the location around and it now boasts a range of attractive sites, cabin expansion, friendly service and the added magic of the great food offerings from the onsite cafe/restaurant The Curly Carrot with its young chefs.

With the local bush and bike hiking trails, waterfall, the nearby Hampton High Country food producers, the museum, local soft drink factory, Arts and Craft Centre, great coffee and country hospitality of Harper’s Country, and the recently restored and renovated Nolan Building offering High End restaurant dining and boutique experiences, the caravanning visitors are spoilt for choice.

Sounds inviting?

Sure is!

Head on out and join the Caravaners for the regular markets and Park events.
